And the best part is that he can do all that from his armchair! Granted he has to study about the game before he can beat the opposition, but the same applies in blackjack as well. The main difference is that in blackjack you try to beat the dealer, while in online poker you just have to find worse poker players than you and avoid the better ones in order to make money as a professional poker player.

If I was to begin all over again as a professional gambler, I'd choose online poker to build up my bankroll quickly and still have the opportunity to make big money if I'd manage to reach the high stakes games or win an expensive poker tournament.
