We talked the other day about the influence Super Tuesday's results had on the fixed betting odds on the US Presidential election. While not much have happened since then, it is surely worth it to take another quick look at the betting markets, since the odds have changed quite significantly. As a matter of fact, I haven't researched a lot about the whole event. I just discuss the odds' movements and betting patterns I see at Betfair. After all, they mean everything to me.
So, what is really important to notice is that the Democratic Primaries that are going to take place during the next days are all showing Barack Obama as a clear favorite over Hillary Clinton. Maybe it's true that we have a long way to go still until the final results of the democratic candidacy, but minor predictions can be made in order to keep the ball rolling.
So, Hillary Clinton is an outsider (2.50 against 1.70 for Obama) at the moment for being elected as the Democratic candidate for the US Elections in November 2008, and "next female president" bet more than agrees with that having the answer "No" offered at 1.30! Remember, the odds for that reached 3.00 at one point !

Hilary's betting odds for US President continue to drift and are now available at 4.00 while she has been a favourite for quite some time. Nowadays Barack Obama is showing real strength in the betting exchange and his odds present a steady fall.

Finally, the Democratic party is still a clear favourite for winning the US election (1.56) and the way the odds are moving and according to the betting markets' behaviour, Obama is at this point leading the race for the presidency. It's been just a few days' time since I last talked about the US election and here I am once again discussing about it, since the whole event seems quite interesting and intriguing regarding betting on it. Let's hope we make something out of it in the end.
Let's not forget the early betting analysis on the US Presidential Elections back in November.
