Blogging is fun, but what about live broadcasting of sports trading, betting or online poker videos? Live streaming of me trading, betting or playing online poker fascinates me but what about my gambling blog's readers? Would they be interested in joining and viewing such a live broadcast if it was available? After all, I should not bother at all unless someone is watching. So, here is your chance to let me know if you would watch that kind of a live event.

Ustream.tv offers streaming capabilities at no cost both for producers and for viewers and seems it is quite popular judging from their site's traffic. They also offer live chat during the live broadcasting which I guess would be a good thing, especially in trading the horse racing markets at Betfair. But trading is not my only thought for broadcasting live videos. Imagine you could watch live my recently published Pokerstars High Stakes Poker Video series! I expect a lot of audience to take part in that broadcast!

I could be mistaken though and no one joins in my Ustream channel. For the time being I experimented a little with pieces of software like Camtasia Studio, Windows Media Encoder and WebCamMax to find out if what I had in mind was actually possible and doable. Here are some images of actual footage I recorded to test each software strengths and weaknesses. As you can see I can include Picture-in-Picture of whatever I want. Even plain web surfing and discussing latest forum posts or news sounds captivating! Another idea is broadcasting a video conference with traders, bloggers or poker players!
