VIP Reward Pokerstars Bonus: A poker bonus for poker addicts

VIP Reward Pokerstars Poker BonusI have recently bought the $4000 VIP Reward Pokerstars bonus and converted 250,000 FPPs into cash. When I bought this poker bonus as a Supernova, I knew that each Frequent Player Point would earn me $0.016. However, my poker account wasn't credited with the money instantly as I thought but instead I needed to earn 28,000 Base FPPs more in order to add the cash into my poker account. That translates to roughly 50,000 hands playing 400NL 6-max No-Limit Texas Hold em, which quite frankly appeals to poker addicts.

There are 5 available VIP Reward Pokerstars Bonus depending on your Pokerstars VIP level. Each poker bonus can be bought in the Pokerstars VIP store using the FPPs you have collected. You simply order the poker bonus you want and the FPPs are instantly deducted from your account. The problem is that the money is not added into your poker account before you earn additional Base FPPs. In simple words, you need to play more to get the cash you purchased!

I had accumulated more than a million Frequent Player Points (FPPs) and although I was 2 million short for that Porsche Cayman, I decided to start converting my FPPs into money in my bank account. So, during December I bought the $4000 VIP Reward Pokerstars Bonus and the "Check My Bonus Status" button appeared in my Pokerstars Cashier screen. That didn't seem bad at the time, since I thought 28,000 Base FPPs were easy to be earned. Of course I was mistaken, since I ended playing texas hold em more than 100 hours at the 400NL tables. And that is playing 8 6-max tables simultaneously, which corresponds to about 500 hands per hour.

If that wasn't enough, you only have 3 months to clear the poker bonus, otherwise you lose the cash and obviously the FPPs you initially used for your purchase. Long story short, you need to play for a lot more hours to convert your Pokerstars FPPs into cash, which will earn you even more FPPs, which will lead you to purchase more VIP Reward Bonuses, which will make you play even more and so on. You think I'm joking? I cleared the $4000 poker bonus on 30th of January and I had once again collected more than a million FPPs! What else could I do other than purchasing another $4000 VIP Reward Pokerstars Bonus and continue playing! Boy, this seems like I'll be playing in Pokerstars forever until I convert all my FPPs into cash! I have now collected 5,000 Base FPPs towards the poker bonus and I almost exceeded 800,000 FPPs!

There are of course additional options to turn those FPPs into cash. You can purchase clothing, books, electronics, gift certificates, poker accessories, or - my favorite - tournament tickets in the Pokerstars store. Still, one million FPPs are a lot and I need to purchase a bunch of books, DVDs and chip sets if I want to take advantage of all my FPPs. However, there also very expensive - in FPPs terms - items like the EPT Dortmund Package which costs 530,000 FPPs. I just hope I won't be required to play 1000 hours to clear that bonus as well!
