I formatted both my desktop and laptop yesterday and today I did a fresh install of the newest beta version of Pokertracker 3, although there is a stable version of this online poker software as well. I have been using Poker Tracker 2 with PokerAce HUD for over 3 years and decided to make the move, since there are more useful stats in the PT3 nowadays, there's been huge improvement regarding the HUD and importing hands in the online poker database is known to need less time to complete. So, I started to import a directory of more than 1 million hand histories and 3 hours later the import actions have finished.

Knowledge is power in poker. A Poker HUD can offer plenty. How about having information for each opponent at your table displayed directly onto the poker table for your benefit? Information that includes how often they call or raise and how aggressive they are. Ever wondered how to identify the pro player and the fish in a matter of seconds by looking at a couple of numbers? Fortunately there are a few HUD (heads-up display) programs available for your convenience but the issue isn't which one to choose. Most of the players have trouble selecting the appropriate stats and HUD layout.
What stats do you display on your PokerAce HUD, and how do you arrange them? Here is my answer...

 Today I'll
show how we can make use of an excellent article written in 2+2 forums about
finding leaks in our game with the aid of Poker Tracker. It is not necessary to
read the article, since I'll discuss each point separately here accompanied by
my personal statistics. If you do have the application you can check your own
stats in the end or you can simply see how a poker player can improve his
skills by studying himself. My analysis will be based on the hands I played
this year at 6-max No Limit poker tables (233,579 hands).

When we
play poker online, we either press buttons or type in numbers. We constantly
have our hands on the mouse or the keyboard in order to act in time, while at
the same time we are thinking about our game. Maybe you can play perfectly and
not getting tired but that is not the case for others. Most players find it
difficult to calculate bet sizes compared to the pot, while others multitable
over 4 tables and find it difficult to reload their chips over and over again.
Fortunately, there is help available.
Although
the following programs have been around for quite some time and I myself use
them for many months, it seems that many experienced players neglect them while
new ones haven't heard of them. Let's
take a look at the most useful ones. Remember, they are all free to use.

Today my computer informed me that there were windows updates I should download and I thought to take a look, since I usually never check what these updates are. Apart from the Definition Update for Windows Defender, I was expected to download 2 Windows Ultimate Extras which were available to install. While the first (DreamScene) doesn't interest me, the second one was a big surprise for me! It was a Hold Em Poker Game!
