Since I'm not performing well at poker, I thought to give the whole sports trading thing another go. So, I traded yesterday the UK Horse Racing markets for about 2 hours and made around EUR 90. That is nowhere near my last year's performance and I'm certain there are other betfair traders making ten times that amount. However, I'm still satisfied with the result for the time being and given 2007 hasn't treated me so nicely, I'll be happy to make that money on a steady daily basis.

As usual, I'm trading using the Bet Angel Professional trading platform which has been invaluable to my trading career. You can watch a couple of videos recorded while trading Betfair's markets using Bet Angel.

I'm currently trading with a bank of EUR 6,000. My liability for each trade doesn't exceed EUR 1,000, which defines my lay stake and it is the same amount of money if I back as an entry action. That is if a favorite horse is trading at 3.00, my lay or back wager is EUR 500. I'm not planning to alter this amount in the future, as it is proven the most profitable for me throughout my trading experience, even when I started trading accroding to my Trading Stats of 2005.

Of course, you don't need a trading platform to win in trading the horse racing markets' fixed odds. You may make money by trading in Betfair with Mozilla Firefox. It is just more efficient and easy with a trading application.
