During last week I tried to play poker every day. I can't say I missed a day, although there were days when I played over 4,000 hands, and some others when I only managed almost 1,000. I ended the week in profit accumulating about 1,000 big bets in 4 different levels, ranging from 100NL to 600NL.
Let's see some interesting hands.
Starting with my most profitable hand (600NL), I should mention that the player calling with A9o was a huge fish playing about 92% of his hands.

One of the hands you should take a look is the following. It's one of those cases when you actually have a flush draw but you don't bet it when you have position. Very few opponents will put you on flush draw and when you hit, you will get paid quite enough. Notice that in this instance, if I would bet the flop, the villain was most probably going to check-raise and that would mean me pushing all my chips in having just 26% equity. Compare that to pushing the 75% of my stack on the river when I'm definately ahead.

So, that is all about me playing poker last week. Concerning the current week, I have already played a couple of thousand hands at 600 and 1000NL with some success but I'll have a full report next Monday most probably. I'm not in the mood for tournaments nowadays, although I still compete in the Sundays' big tournaments. If you happen to enjoy reading my articles, consider subscribing to my feed and as always I welcome all comments. Best of luck!
