December has just started and the poker leader boards show me as the top online poker winner at Pokerstars for this month at $1000NL tables. It may be early in the month, but leading the race is quite fun! The net amount is not exactly the real one as my Poker Tracker database shows, but I guess the same applies to the other players. Of course I recognize quite a few of the names below me, since they are mostly regulars at Pokerstars.
The leader board provided by Pokertableratings.com I think is updated on a daily basis but I might be mistaken. Anyhow, I was placed second behind innerpsy and today I managed to climb up to the first place. I hope I end the month at top 10. These are the Top Online Poker Winners this month for 1000NL at Pokerstars.

My most poker winnings for December up to now have been made playing against both regulars and random players. I am glad I can show a profit against good players like innerpsy, gregy20723, wobbly_au and others.

It seems I should avoid supfoolio and bfl4me who keep beating me. Note that this list also contains players whom I played against at 2000NL tables. Although I have played only 2000 hands there this month, I am losing 2 buyins which equates to 4 grand which is a lot comparing to 1K No Limit.

Finally, as far as my luck at the poker tables concerning, it is pretty obvious I'm running a bit unlucky. The Holdem Luck application shows a promising green line which is the expected winnings when we are pushing all the chips before the river at any street, and the blue line is my actual winnings. The difference between the two lines is represented with a red line. If that red line is below 0, it means I have been running unlucky (like shoving AA preflop and losing to Kings). Yesterday was my worst day of this month regarding my "luck" since I stood to win 11K but the cards said otherwise.

thanks again!
do you play exclusively NLHE? Did you pick up PLO? Winrates at PLO are higher than in NLHE (although standard deviation is double the amount too, but this even out over the long term anyways) and it would be interesting to take your opinion on that one.
