Greek Team in World Cup of Poker 2007

Today I almost made it into the Greek Team which will fight their way into the World Cup of Poker 2007. There were 2 Qualifiers for today's final tournament, and I won a seat through the second one. Today, there were 18 Greek poker players in the final competing for 2 seats in the official team. 2 more players will be added according to their last year's leaderboard score and one more will be nominated by Pokerstars. I lost to a bad beat (not a major one, A8 vs K9 and a King fell on the river) and finished 5th. I just hope for the nomination as my last chance to qualify to the Greek Team.

Greek Team's Division consists of the teams of Belgium, France, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain. Last year's winner of WCP was Poland. As a consolidation I will most probably be in next year's Greek Team for WCP since I am placed quite high in this year's leaderboard. You can read it all here!
