Yesterday night I played a freeroll poker tournament in Pokerstars to win an EPT Monte Carlo seat. I reached the final table and although I won some money, I finished 8th among 1,000 entrants. The freeroll poker tournament was an offer from PokerListings and it would be nice if I was traveling to Monte Carlo this spring trying to win the EPT Grand Final without actually spending a dime!

I have been playing online poker for over 2 years and I had a little success both in cash games and in tournaments. Here I show a gallery of my best online poker tournament performance including pictures of the tournaments' lobbies with the total prize pools and players' rankings. These are my best overall poker rankings playing online poker tournaments. While in most of them I have finished in first place, there are some pictures of me reaching the final table.

Pokerland.gr is one of the few online poker communities based in Greece and their first online poker tournament has just finished. The $20+2 Freezeout tournament was scheduled in Poker.gr (OnGame Poker network) and I finished 1st out of about 50 players. Playing against known Greek forum members was fun but also stressful as everyone wanted to make it to the poker forum’s headlines the next day! I just hope I can repeat that once more in the following Mondays the poker tournament will take place.

Pokerstars award their poker players with freerolls every Saturday and VIP $50,000 Weekly is one of them. It is a freeroll poker tournament for Supernovas but players from other levels can win tickets playing satellites. I am a Supernova poker player at Pokerstars.com since last year and have already won the VPPs required for next year (trying for Supernova Elite but I won’t make it). I have missed this poker tournament about 4 or 5 times this year, and last Saturday’s Weekly freeroll was the lucky one for me!

Greek Poker Tour (GPT) 5 will be conducted at the Concord Card Casino in Vienna, Austria between 10-12 October. There have already been 4 Greek Poker Tours, which were all hosted by Apollonia Casino in Gevgelija, FYROM. There will be 2 more GPTs until May 2009 but details haven’t been announced. The live poker tournaments have attracted the attention of regular Greek poker players and we expect to see an even bigger participation in this Greek Poker Tour. I may also be there!

Pokerstars.com has scheduled two VIP Sit and Go tournaments with WSOP Champion Joseph Hachem on Friday morning. These two SNGs are available for all Pokerstars' players willing to spend 15,000 Frequent Player Points (FPPs) on a ticket for each tournament. I will be playing in both of them as I have done in the past against Daniel Negreanu and Chris Moneymaker. You can watch the videos of those tournaments where I finished 4th against Daniel and 5th against Chris.

Now, a couple of words about who Joseph Hachem is.
