Wednesday 4 June:Nowadays I'm playing online poker at Pokerstars.com. My favorite levels range from 200NL to 600NL. I usually play the big tournaments each Sunday and the freerolls available for Supernova players but I haven't scored big lately. You can check my Tournament Performance Gallery.
You can find me playing in the Poker Rooms using the following aliases:
As I said yesterday, I was going to try my luck at 400NL. I started pretty well but had 30 frightening minutes at one point losing many BBs but managed to make it all back. I was getting played back a lot during that period and my AA-JJ/AK/AQ were facing a lot of aggression on the worst ever flops and finally decided to make a play with TT only to be called by KK and that was one of my biggest losses for the day. Other than that, when you check the video I include in this post, you'll see at the beginning 2 big winning pots for me against the same player. He was the type of player that always goes to showdown!
So, I've been doing quite ok at the poker tables at Pokerstars, winning more than $1,500 yesterday which corresponds to $270/hour. I ran at almost 14BB/100 playing 200NL cash games, improving the Monday's performance by a couple of BBs. I'll be trying my luck at 400NL today and hopefully I'll have good news tomorrow. I also include a video in this post, showing the most important hands of my most profitable table for the day (more than $700). Enjoy the show!
Here's the video of the VIP Sit 'n' Go Tournament played 2 days ago against Chris Moneymaker. Although no problems were encountered during the recording, I had trouble with my desktop computer when I got home and I needed that computer to encode the videos before publishing. I had purchased new fans and a fan controller but upon installation I found it a bit difficult to set it up and I didn't have much time. So, this morning I'm at last ready to publish the video of the SNG which didn't go so well for me and finished at bubble. I can't say I played good and got unlucky when I pushed with KQ and the Small Blind was dealt AQ. Still it was quite fun. Check back for more videos to come!
The two-part video is available for free as always.
As I have already published, I was ready to compete with Daniel Negreanu last night in a Pokerstars VIP Sit and Go Poker Tournament. Things didn't start so well, since there was a reschedule which postponed the start of the tourney by 3 hours. That meant that I had to play at 4:00 in the morning! So I tried to stay awake but at 2:30am I fell asleep. My girlfriend woke me up at 3:30am and I played lying in bed, forcing myself not to close my eyes! Fortunately, I was really full of enthusiasm and focused well into my playing style, watching the others' play.
Here's the video of the poker tournament 's divided in 2 parts, 1st hour of play and 2nd (final) hour. Note that Daniel plays under the nickname "KidPoker".
Feel free to share your opinion, make suggestions or criticize my play in the comment section of the post. I might also discuss some of the hands I found interesting. Happy viewing!
After watching other poker players record their sessions, I decided to start publishing mine. Today, I played several sit 'n' goes poker tournaments and recorded one of them, where I placed 2nd. The buy-in is $55 and the winner takes almost $250. I usually play 6-8 tables at the same time, so you'll notice some delays during my play or maybe some bad moves. If you have any remark or suggestion to make, feel free to comment on the video. In the future, I'll try record cash games, MultiTable Tournaments (MTT) and more sit 'n' goes (SNG). Stay tuned!
