Hey people, it's been a while since I posted something useful here. The site's traffic has been dropping constantly during the last month, which is an immediate effect of me not interested in writing and sharing my thoughts and results. So, for all you loyal friends here's my betting performance of the last weekend.

American Idol 2008 odds and predictions haven't yet been posted anywhere in the internet, but since the Top 24 have been decided, it's good to have a quick look at the contestants early on. But first, some details for this season, which might come in use when the time comes, are required. The American Idol Season 7 aired for the first time on January 15, 2008, the top 10 will be decided on March 19 and the Finale is on May 21.

The Academy Awards or Oscars 2008 are to be presented on February 24th and the betting odds already offer good opportunities. Betfair have made all the awards available for betting or trading but 5 categories sum up the vast majority of the bets' liquidity. The Oscars are awarded in 2 weeks to the most talented actors, actresses, directors or film producers and other nominees. We don't have much time ahead of us, so let's take a look at betting patterns, odds and betfair charts. 2008 Oscar Predictions are also included from various websites and blogs.

Although there are quite a few interesting football games today, I avoid suggesting West Ham to beat Coventry, and I prefer Lecce to win at home against Grosseto.

Starting today, I'll post my personal suggestions for some games. This is done primarily for fun and I advise not to follow my tips until there is evidence I can at least break even! My tips are based solely on my personal belief, news, and anything I have found useful to back my selection. I don't use any mathematical model and I'll be using a flat staking system, meaning I will bet 10 euros per selection. My goal is to give 100 tips in total and then arrive to any conclusions.
